College, Pasighat as lecturer in 1981. He also served All India Radio Dibrugarh and Pasighat under Central Information Service, which he joined during year 1977.

She was also instrumental in choereography of “Pree Dance” during mid 70′s.

Habung Tago
A Singer, Lyricist, Poet and a recipient of State Silver Medal Award, during the year 1998, for his meritorious service rendered to the state of Arunachal Pradesh, he is the founder Chairman and present Chairman of Popi Sarmin Society.
He has served the Popi Sarmin Society in the capacity of Chairman during 29-07-1990 to 28-07-1992, 29-07-1992 to 20-08-1993, 17-11-1996 to 22-11-1997 & 23-11-1997 to 18-12-1998 and has not allowed the organisation and it’s endevour to fester during his tenure.
He has penned songs likeSango Nurie Pa, Miji Migung Mi Aju Kopa, Ngiika Gorkhang Murtu and poems like Ahin Misu etc., and has sung Ngunu Government College, Itanagar.

Hage Ade
Singer par-excellence, who has given hit numbers like Ngimi Henii Bilo Hoka, Opo ngika opo, Hengi hentii etc., his melliflous voice has become synonymous with Apatani music. The philosophical genre of his lyrics drives home a myriad of subtle human emotions. The tone and tenor of his songs has held many a music lover spellbound and his name has become a household name among the Apatanis.
He has served the Popi Sarmin Society as a Vice Chairman during the year 1993 to 1996.

Presently serving the State Government, he is a well known Apatani author who has over a dozen books, essays and researched articles on Apatani customs and cultures to his credit. Some of his works include The Advancing Apatani of Arunachal Pradesh (1993), Charung-Hulu: A ritual text of the Apatani (1994), Agricultural Festival of Arunachal Pradesh (1995), Socio-Religious ceremonies of the Apatani (1996), Apatani, Genesis of Man (1997) etc.

Late Tage Dibo
A profilic writer of Apatani prose and poetry, Late Tage Dibo has set the trend for a creative synthesis of folk verses and contemporary score in Apatani music. His compositions, which invariably have prosidic touch, encapsulate a wide range of human and social themes.
Among the multifarious themes incorporated into his lyrics is patroitism, vented in no uncertain terms in his song Si Ngunu ka Bharat Ganda, which was sung by the choir of Artistes Society of Arunachal and telecast on Doordarshan, Itanagar.
A singer, lyricist and script writer – all rolled into one, Late Dibo began dabbling in singing with Siilo Ense Hende Hende, written by Rubu Khoda and sung with Tage Yadii, which has also gone on the air. He has also written three film scripts: Tabyu Millo in Apatani, Aswarn Vivah in Hindi and The Marriage Ceremony of the Apatanis in Apatani.
He has served the Popi Sarmin Society as Chairman during 21-08-1993 to 27-01-1996 and as member Secretary of Popi Sarmin Society during 23-11-1997 to 18-12-1998.

Gyati Anda
With more than 20 songs to his credit, he is one of the popular Apatani singers who has given hits like Apu No Niimpa Besi Giida Nii, Dopii Doka Ajin Ha, Yasi Hii Tu Pe Siitii etc.
He recorded song his first song Katu Kenda Pa Pulu Siiko Ho for AIR, Dibrugarh (Assam) and his latest album is Ajin Aena.
During his tenure as Chairman of Popi Sarmin Society, he organized a talent hunt contest at Ziro, to promote local young talented artists. The winners of the talent hunt contest were given chance to record their songs in the audio album PS Vol-III.
He was felicitated by Arunachal Guild for Cultural Integration in collaboration with Department of Art & Culture, Government of Arunachal Pradesh in their first ever felicitation ceremony on 29th of February, 2012.

Millo Tago, IFS
An ardent advocate of a concerted effort towards promotion and preservation of the indigenous art and culture of the Apatanis, he is the first IFS officer of Apatani community.
After passing out from Haryana Agricultural University, he appeared for the State Forest Service Examination, 1986 and secured 1st rank in that examination and served the State Forest Department as ACF for brief period. He cleared the IFS conducted by UPSC during the year 1990 and was allotted Karnataka cadre. He is presently serving as Executive Director and Conservator of Forests, Bannerghatta Biological Park, Bangalore.
A prolific writer, he has penned popular Apatani songs like Aro Barmii, Abya Arang, Nginyi Duko Mi, Miji Tapyu, Tiirang Darniin etc.

Considered as Apatani Sonu Nigam and father of Apatani Modern Songs, he is one of the popular neo-Apatani Singers who has belted hits like Mundo-Mundo, Amie Kontii Kabyang Lama, Ngiika Gorkhang Murtu etc. He has to his credit more than 70 songs which is second highest for any Apatani to record a song.
An approved AIR, Itanagar artist, he was responsible for first ever HIV-AIDS awareness song recorded in 11 dialects of Arunachal Pradesh on behalf of APSACS, Government of Arunachal Pradesh. He is also the first from Apatani community to ever pay tribute to a legend by recreating compositions of Late Michi Tagur in the album titled “Tagur Yadein”, produced by Michi Welfare Society, Itanagar.
He has also produced audio albums like No Nona Du (Where are you?)-2005, Ligang Sampyu’s Maalo (Shaayad)-2007, Hasso-Hasso (Dheere-Dheere)-2008, Duyu Apa’s Maalokaalohey (if you please)-2009 etc. under Dorado Production, Itanagar.
Besides recording songs, he has written a book titled “Komang’s”-a complete guide to APJEE for both diploma and degree aspirants, in collaboration with Er. Mihin Tangu. Also, he has authored along with Hage Nibo, Advocate a book/guide for competitive examinations in Arunachal Pradesh.

Habung Youngbow
Mr. Habung Youngbow, son of Mr. Habung Tago, was born on 30th March, 1968 at Seichung in Nagaland. Having earned his early education in Nagaland, he matriculated and passed his AISSCE from Government Higher Secondary School, Ziro in 1985. He graduated with honours in Economics from Jawahalal Nehru College, Pasighat and obtained his MBA degree with specialization in Finance & Marketing from Guwahati University.
Mr. Youngbow has been associated with Apatani literature mostly as translator and editor. He has translated into English, the popular compilation of traditional Apatani proverbs entitled NITIN HORMIN authored by late Kalung Challa besides actively involving in the publication of DITUN POTUN, a narrative on social ceremonies of the Apatanis authored by the same writer. Mr. Youngbow has edited the first-ever in-house journal of Popi Sarmin Society entitled POPIRISCOPE and has drafted the Constitution and Byelaws of the Apatani Socio-Cultural Welfare Society, Itanagar. He has also scripted and narrated the audio-visual documentary on MIDA, the traditional marriage ceremony of the Apatanis, produced by Mr. Nani Khambo.
